After a horrible mass shooting, which took the lives of 20 victims, President Trump announced he would visit El Paso. As in times before, the president is offering compassion and hope to Americans struck by tragedy. 2020 candidate “Beto” O’Rourke tried to slander President Trump over his visit. But the president put him in his place.
There’s not much to be said about Robert Francis O’Rourke. Except that he likes to use the made-up nickname “Beto,” to imply Latino heritage. The fact remains he’s whiter than most Texans. You could say he uses that nickname to steal the ethnicity of another people.
As a Senate candidate he failed. Even after getting a huge injection of cash from donor outside of Texas, he could not beat Ted Cruz and flip his seat from red to blue. Now, “Beto” is running for in Democratic primary for president. And in a crowded field of far-left candidates, this pro-illegal immigration politician can’t muster support.
In the wake of the horrible shooting in El Paso, O’Rourke’s hometown, you’d think he would be able to score some points with Americans. A tragedy like this gives leaders an opportunity to show their resolve, kindness, and integrity. But what has O’Rourke done? He’s used the deaths of 20 neighbors to bash President Trump.
O’Rourke has called the president racist in light of this shooting. He’s compared MAGA rallies to Hitler’s Third Reich. Oh, how original O’Rourke. You’re calling Trump a Nazi? And you think this is appropriate after 20 people died? Think again.
When Trump announced he would be visiting El Paso—to offer support and hope to the community—O’Rourke insulted him yet again.
Trump responded by exposing and humiliated this fake Latino.
President Trump issued a fiery tweet late Tuesday for 2020 presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke ahead of his visit to the Democrat’s hometown of El Paso, Texas, following last weekend’s shooting that left 22 dead.
Over the past several days, O’Rourke has slammed the president, who he has placed blame for the massacre…
“That is a leader reveling in the hatred and the racism of the people that he purports to serve and to lead,” O’Rourke said Monday…
“Beto (phony name to indicate Hispanic heritage) O’Rourke, who is embarrassed by my last visit to the Great State of Texas, where I trounced him, and is now even more embarrassed by polling at 1% in the Democrat Primary, should respect the victims & law enforcement – & be quiet!” [Source: Fox News]
Wow, that was brutal. Pathetic O’Rourke, who like all Democrats lacking leadership skills, called Trump a racist over and over again. Liberals need to learn that calling Trump a racist doesn’t work. Especially when there is so much evidence to the contrary.
Trump totally destroys O’Rourke. First, he calls out his phony nickname “Beto,” exposing the Irishman’s attempts to appear Hispanic. Remember Elizabeth Warren—a woman who pretended to be Cherokee? Trump is now doing the same thing to O’Rourke he did to her.
Next he reminds O’Rourke about his influence on the last election. Trump appeared in Texas in 2018 to back Ted Cruz. He packed out a stadium with tens of thousands of supporters. His support for Cruz clinched the election for the man. Meanwhile, O’Rourke couldn’t get a few people to fill a room.
President Trump clearly points out the O’Rourke is polling too low to matter. Someone at 1% has no chance of surviving the race. At the next Democratic debates, they won’t even let him on the stage. Finally, Trump demands O’Rourke stop spewing hate and respect the victims and law enforcement of his community.
Through all this tragedy, President Trump is the only leader who has carried himself with dignity and respect. The man the media constantly accuses of being disrespectful and reckless has been the only person to respond to these events properly.
Democrats—as usual—have turned these terrible killings into a circus. They have used the deaths of innocent victims to push their politics—be that gun control or something else. O’Rourke has even used the deaths of 20 of his own neighbors to call the president a racist.
Trump is right. O’Rourke needs to stay quiet.
