As the 2020 Democratic field shrinks, struggling candidates are getting more and more extreme in their views.
First, it was gun control. They want to confiscate your firearms and home protection.
Now, several of the 2020 liberals are going after your religious liberties. In fact, one admits to wanting to attack both churches and mosques. While another wants to shut down Catholic schools. Talk about winners!
I’m not sure who convinced all these liberals to run for president. Most of the 2020 lineup are little-known senators with no accomplishments. Most, if not all, of the candidates are pushing far-left socialist policies that would bankrupt our country.
The frontrunners, including Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders, want to raise taxes and hand out freebies to illegal immigrants. The rest of them, in a desperate attempt to stand out, are attacking your First Amendment rights.
Cory Booker recently accused religious institutions of spreading discrimination. And he promised to shut them down if he became president.
Here’s Cory Booker suggesting that Catholic schools across the country should shut down. He says, Catholic schools across the country are using religion to justify discrimination…

Booker attacked religious groups, accusing them of discriminating against black Americans and other minority groups. Apparently, he forgot how many black Americans are Christians. He also forgot how religious groups were leaders in ending slavery and fighting for civil rights. Whatever gets you liberal votes, huh Cory?
But it gets worse from there. We already talked about how failing candidate Robert “Beto” O’Rourke talked about removing a religious group’s tax-exempt status if they don’t support gay marriage. He said churches have to comply with the left’s definition of sexuality and marriage, or be punished.
O’Rourke is putting the rights of gay couples above the rights of religious people, even though religion is protected by the First Amendment, gay marriage is not.
People online made a good point about what he said, forcing O’Rourke to dig himself deeper into this hole.
Conservatives on social media also quickly pointed out that O’Rourke’s policy would affect Muslims and historically black colleges and universities — not just the religious conservatives and Evangelical Christians that O’Rourke appeared to believe were at the root of the “intolerance” he considered problematic.
Sunday, O’Rourke begrudgingly admitted that he’d go after mosques and HBCUs, too, if they refused to see the error of their ways and embrace same sex marriage without question. [Source: Daily Wire]
Wow. I guess O’Rourke wasn’t really thinking when he came up with this policy. It’s one thing to attack conservative Christians—liberals hate those. But black Christians and Muslims!? O’Rourke, that’s a pretty dangerous path to take.
We know that the gay community is a protected group on the left. They fight for them like they were fragile babies with no backbones of their own. But when you pit one minority group against another—including blacks and Muslims—you’re about to start a left-wing civil war!
O’Rourke forgot that there were religious groups that are supposedly protected by the left, too. Democrats seem to be deeply concerned about the wellbeing of Muslims in our society—because they are a religious minority. But are they willing to put them above their most sacred minority group, the gays?
I guess not. O’Rourke dug himself into a big ol’ hole by putting forward this stupid policy. Even gay 2020 candidate Pete Buttigieg condemned O’Rourke’s policy. Now that’s saying something.
But don’t expect this kind of view to change, even when O’Rourke and Booker drop out of the race. Everything these candidates are doing is the opposite of Donald Trump. President Trump is a strong advocate for religious freedom in America. So, every last 2020 Democrats will be against it, just to oppose him.
If any one of them gets into the White House, our religious liberties will be doomed. Mark my words.
