The whistleblower—the unnamed person that started the impeachment chaos—recently offered to answer questions from Republicans, but only in written form. The GOP rejected this offer as yet another attempt by the left to manipulate the inquiry. President Trump weighed in, also rejecting this obvious scheme. He then went on to say certain details about the whistleblower causing us to ask: does he already know who it is?
I’m sure you’re tired of hearing about the shadowy “whistleblower” who the left used to start their impeachment. But we still have to talk about him. This person took it upon themselves to kick up a dust storm that affects every last American. He submitted a complaint—that was mostly inaccurate—that the Democrats are using to try to remove your president from office.
So yeah, this guy is pretty important.
What’s even more shocking is that, still, his identity is a secret. This person has accused the president of crimes, yet he is too cowardly to show his face. In our system of justice, an American has the right to confront their accuser. It’s a part of our due process.
Yet Democrats refuse to let President Trump and the GOP openly question this person. It is a shocking violation of Trump’s rights. But when has the left ever cared about things like justice and equal rights (for conservatives)?
President Trump joined with the GOP to reject the whistleblower’s “generous” offer to answer their questions in writing. This is an insulting offer, which prevents Republicans from properly questioning this accuser. In fact, Donald Trump called out that scheme and even said a few things that have raised our eyebrows.
“The Whistleblower gave false information and dealt with corrupt politician [Adam] Schiff,” Trump tweeted Monday (formatting adjusted). “He must be brought forward to testify. Written answers not acceptable!”
As Politico reports, Trump edged closer Sunday to revealing the alleged identity of the whistleblower, which RealClearInvestigations’ Paul Sperry describes as “an open secret inside the Beltway.”
“There have been stories written about a certain individual, a male, and they say he’s the whistleblower,” Trump told White House reporters Sunday. “If he’s the whistleblower, he has no credibility because he’s a [John] Brennan guy, he’s a Susan Rice guy, he’s an Obama guy. And he hates Trump.”
“Now, maybe it’s not him,” Trump added. “But if it’s him, you guys ought to release the information.” [Source: Daily Wire]
Woah, what? The whistleblower’s identity is an “open secret” in D.C.? This is shocking, but not surprising. The D.C. swamp often knows things they refuse to reveal to the American public. All because it would be too damaging to their corrupt agenda.
That tells you something. A culture so prone to leak damaging info is collectively keeping the whistleblower’s name a secret. Yet Trump seems to already know. He called out this partisan hack as a buddy of Trump-hating John Brennan and Obama ally Susan Rice. Trump is suggesting this “whistleblower” is everything we suspect he is: an Obama-era crony that is attacking Trump over partisan bitterness.
So why not come out and expose him? President Trump might know, but he’s demanding the same fair treatment every American deserves. The Democrats have to be the ones to reveal the identity, or the whistleblower himself must do so. The longer they wait (while pushing this impeachment inquiry), the more outrageous and un-Constitutional this process becomes.
Democrats are only burying themselves by pushing an impeachment that is violating basic rules of due process. They are attempting to try Trump without a formal investigation, indictment, or even basic transparency. Everything they are doing is against our establish values of innocence until proven guilty.
Do they think the American people will be on board with that? Of course not. Trump is the first president in decades to actually make good on his promises. Americans are thriving, thanks to his policies. Nobody in their right mind wants him gone.
Unless the Democrats either end this impeachment now or reveal the whistleblower’s name—they are done for.
