Elizabeth Warren—the supposed 2020 Democratic frontrunner—has been promising universal healthcare in the form of “Medicare for all.” But her socialist “free” healthcare will cost Americans over $52 trillion. Many, even liberals, have criticized the plan by saying it will hurt the middle class. Now, 2016 presidential loser Hillary Clinton weighed in. Warren can’t be too happy right now.

The 2020 Democratic primary so far has been nothing short of a circus. There has not been a single candidate that can inspire Americans to vote for them. They’re all duds, plain and simple. Two of the top contenders are self-proclaimed socialists, who want to burden America with insanely costly healthcare plans.

We thought Bernie Sanders’ $32 trillion plan was bad. But then Elizabeth Warren unveiled her plan, which will cost our country $52 trillion over just ten years. The irony of a “free” healthcare program is that it’s not even remotely free. This program will be funded through heavy taxes. Warren says not a single tax will affect the middle class. Sure, we’re buying that.

It’s impossible for such a massive program to not hit most Americans with new and painful taxes. Do you want a larger chunk of your paycheck being taken to pay for subpar healthcare? I doubt it. Yet that is what you’re going to get if Warren gets elected.

Plenty of Democrats have already criticized Warren’s plan, including Joe Biden. But he has to criticize it, since he’s running against her. He also helped craft the failed Obamacare program and even though it’s terrible, he can’t abandon it.

But recently, failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton weighed in on the issue. I’m sure most liberals were expecting her to back the leading female candidate for president. Instead, she threw Warren’s plan under the bus.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton poured cold water Wednesday on Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s Medicare for All plan and said she doubts the $52 trillion proposal could ever be enacted.

“I don’t believe we should be in the midst of a big disruption while we are trying to get to 100% coverage and deal with costs,” Clinton said at an event The New York Times hosted…

Clinton said she would support a debate on any universal health care plan, but that it was not politically feasible.

“You just don’t think that that plan would ever get enacted?” Aaron Ross Sorkin, the event moderator, asked.

“No, I don’t. I don’t.” [Source: Daily Caller]

Ouch. There had been rumors that Hillary Clinton was aiding Warren’s campaign—after she was seen at several of her events. It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to believe Clinton was lending Warren a helping hand to secure the nomination.

But Clinton just torched Warren’s signature campaign promise. With Clinton rejecting Medicare for All, Warren will have a harder time convincing liberal voters to back it.

There are plenty of Democrats who still look to Clinton as some kind of leader. Nevermind she failed to secure the White House—twice. The former Secretary of State still carries weight with some voters. For her to reject Warren’s plan is bad news for the 2020 “frontrunner.”

It also proves just how deep the divides are among Democrats. They just can’t get on board with any plan. Some want radical leftist policies. Others are trying to be slightly moderate. The only thing they can agree on is that they hate Donald Trump. Imagine my shock.

Sorry, guys, that’s not a winning strategy. If you want to take the White House in 2020, you have to offer voters something better than what Trump is doing. He’s scoring major wins on almost every issue.

Meanwhile, Democrats are promising programs that will bankrupt our country and destroy our prosperity.

After all, when Hillary Clinton is the voice of reason in your party… you’re in big trouble!
