Once upon a time, the liberal media adored the “Squad,” four far-left, freshmen Democrats in Congress. These women accomplished nothing but strife, but were still celebrated by the MSM for “opposing” Donald Trump. But one of these women—known for wild outbursts—is facing trouble of her own. And it could land her a one-way ticket out of Congress.

Rashida Tlaib is a member of the “squad,” which includes such heroes as anti-Semite Ilhan Omar and numbskull “Democratic socialist” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Tlaib has as little to her list of accomplishments as these other women—expect for her irrational hatred for the President of the United States.

She once banded with Omar to push a bill that would have allowed U.S. companies to boycott the nation of Israel. It would have been the first time the U.S. openly supported the BDS movement—a global attempt to cripple and destroy the one Jewish state in the world. Thankfully, even House Democrats knocked down her attempt.

Tlaib is also known for her wild temper, that got her thrown out of a Trump event. Early in the 2016 Election, Donald Trump appeared in Michigan for a meeting with local business owners. Tlaib, a local politician, was there as well. Before Trump could even begin his remarks, Tlaib made an outburst.

Screaming and cursing, she was forcibly removed from the event. She has continued to use foul language to describe the president, proving how unprofessional she is.

But now her reputation is utterly tarnished, as a new ethics investigation has been revealed. Turns out, the House discovered messages from Tlaib where she begged her campaign to give her money for personal use.

The House Ethics Committee on Thursday released a trove of striking internal campaign communications sent in 2018 by Michigan Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib, in which Tlaib urgently requested money from her congressional campaign to defray personal expenses — and, a government watchdog said, possibly violated federal law in the process…

The document dump was related to the committee’s ongoing ethics probe into Tlaib, which the panel said on Thursday would be “expanded” based on a referral from the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE)…

You can be as foul-mouthed and hateful as can be and apparently, the House won’t care. But violate campaign financing laws and they’ll be all over you like ants on a picnic.

Tlaib’s lawyers claim what she was requesting were well within the bounds of the law. Yet according to the messages, she was demanding very large sums of money. In fact, in one message, she wanted 2 grand a week, up to $12,000. In another text, she requested a one-time payout of $5,000.

What kind of personal expenses does she have that requires $2,000 a week? That’s higher than many people’s monthly rent. She claimed it was for “necessities.” Hmm… I’m not buying it. And neither is the Ethics Committee.

Tlaib’s campaign committee, Rashida Tlaib for Congress, allegedly “reported campaign disbursements that may not be legitimate and verifiable campaign expenditures attributable to bona fide campaign or political purposes,” according to a release from OCE that unanimously recommended the Ethics Committee investigate Tlaib. Federal law is pretty strict about what you can do with campaign funds. For good reason. We don’t want politicians raising millions from Americans—thinking its for an election—only to drop out and pocket the cash. Imagine the chaos that would ensure.

Seems like, though, Tlaib tried to skirt the law to cash in on the large sums of money her campaign was pulling in. If she’s found guilty of breaking the law, she’s in for some serious trouble.

Not that I’m surprised in the least. Let’s just hope she doesn’t slink away, like so many other Democrats.
