Many have speculated on the mental health of Democrat candidate Joe Biden. He recently confronted those fears by saying he’s being “constantly tested daily.” But it doesn’t seem that he’s being tested enough, as the man continues to make troubling and confusing remarks. Just recently, he made another gaffe, one that should raise many eyebrows.
We can’t say for sure that Joe Biden has dementia. Much like we couldn’t say for sure that Hillary Clinton had Parkinson’s in 2016. But we don’t need an official diagnosis to know that something’s wrong. With each passing day, the man appears less coherent and confident.
I don’t have room to list the many times Joe Biden behaved in such a way to raise suspicions. In fact, I don’t have too. In nearly every clip, interview, and appearance, Biden looks tired, confused, and sluggish. Even when he makes sense, his words are slurred. When given a script to read from, he has trouble finishing his sentences.
And, as if on cue, he made another odd gaffe.
Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden called Arizona “an important city” during an interview on the 2020 election.
The former vice president made the blunder during a recent appearance on NBC 12.
Arizona is very much in play in 2020, so we appreciate you taking some time and talk to the people of our state,” host Mark Curtis said.
“Oh, you’re an important city. You guys are going through hell right now, are ya?” Biden responded…
Around 10 minutes into the interview, a Biden aide apparently thought it had gone on long enough. The aide interrupted to tell the NBC 12 anchor this would be “the last question.” [Source: Fox News]
Like in most appearances lately, we can see that a handler is calling the shots. Biden’s people only gave him ten minutes for the interview. Is that because he’s so important and busy (hiding in his basement), or to limit the damage of what he might say?
Even ten minutes isn’t short enough to prevent Joe from exposing his frailty. The interviewer was clearly talking about the entire state of Arizona, but Joe responds “you’re an important city.” Hmm… simple slip of the tongue? It would be, had this not been the 1000000th time Joe messes up basic pieces of information.
While still on the campaign trail, he forgot which city or state he was in. Other times, he would get basic facts of recent events confused. One time, he mixed up his wife and sister. He is frequently saying odd, unusual, and inexplicable things, such as the time he said “you ain’t black” to black Americans who support Donald Trump.
You could almost sense the fear in Biden’s handler. They were so quick to end the interview, but quickly returned so he could provide an answer about China—which his handlers problem hastily wrote for him. Sorry, Biden, but that’s not how it’s supposed to work. You can’t just hit “pause” on an interview so that your people (who aren’t suffering from mental decline) can come up with the answer for you.
What does this guy expect to do during the debates? Will his staff rush the stage after each question, demanding the cameras switch off—to give him the answers? Will they stick an ear piece in his head to spoon feed him information (I’m sure that will go over REAL well!).
It’s obvious the poor souls that are running Biden’s campaign have no clue how to deal with Joe’s mental decline. And I don’t blame them. When the guy calls the entire state of Arizona a city, you don’t have much to work with.
You will only limit interviews to ten minutes (or less) and scramble to hide any signs of his mental weakness.
But even then, you’d fail.
