Nearly every failed presidential candidate of the last ten years will be speaking at the upcoming Democrat National Convention. The list is a whos-who of far-left socialists who want to bury the United States in massive taxes, heavy regulation—and more wealth for those at the top. But surprisingly missing from the list was a minority candidate who enjoyed a groundswell of support. It appears the “inclusive” left, left out the Asian Americans.
Right now, Democrats are patting themselves on the pat back for picking Kamala Harris as Joe Biden’s running mate. A woman with a horrible record, who might be less likable than Hillary Clinton, is being praised by her party—just for being a black woman.
Because, these days, that’s all Democrats have going for them: identity politics. Their plans for America would leave most of us poor, homeless, and under siege by radical anarchists. All they got to bamboozle voters is the claim they are racially diverse. But it appears their love of racial diversity fell short when they announced their massive list of speakers at their upcoming convention.
The Democratic National Committee snubbed Andrew Yang, the tech entrepreneur who made a splash in the Democrat primary race with his happy-go-lucky style and major pitch for a universal basic income, excluding him from the list of speakers for next week’s party convention.
“I’ve got to be honest I kind of expected to speak,” Yang said in a social media post on Tuesday following reports of the convention’s speaker lineup…

Plenty of people voiced surprise online, even conservatives. Democrat Ted Lieu slammed his own party, saying “Asian Americans are the fastest increasing group in America, including in multiple swing states. The gross underrepresentation of Asian American speakers in the four days of the DNC Convention is tone deaf and a slap in the face.”
I guess diversity only matters when that group is large enough to affect the outcome of an election. Perhaps Democrats didn’t think Asian Americans’ votes really mattered, as much as black Americans and Hispanics?
Sorry, Ted and Andy, you might be part of the “fastest increasing” group in the country, but you ain’t big enough yet to get Democrats’ attention!
Other commentators criticized the failing party for not selecting Yang. Some said it was a “monumental mistake.” Others said it was “malpractice.” Another even said it was “remarkably dumb.”
Keep in mind, this will be the same tired and boring convention that will feature tired and boring John Kasich, who is betraying the GOP to endorse far-left Joe Biden. The Democrats were able to find a spot for Kasich—who must be hated by both parties by now—but not a young, charismatic figure like Yang?
This tells you all you need to know about Democrats in 2020. They could have found room for a man like Yang, whose background and ideas might have energized young voters and minorities. Instead, they went with the same tired, divisive, unpleasant, and boring people who have been dragging down their party for years.
The same people who lost them the election last time. The same people who change their platform depending on which way the wind is blowing. People who have proven to be hypocrites, who want to defund police, let rioters run free, and keep us locked down until Kingdom come.
Democrats can talk all day about how they love diversity and how they want every voice heard in our country. But when it comes down to it, they don’t really care about any of that. It is a party run by power brokers who only serve the most influential and “important” within their ranks.
They don’t care about the future of America, nor do they want every voice heard.
