House Republicans move to strip the far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar of her committee assignments as tensions flare. Recently, House Democrats have brutally and unfairly targeted pro-Trump lawmaker Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene in an effort to brand Trump Republicans as ‘terrorists.’ This move by House Republicans is surely a retaliation, and a justified one at that.
Fox News reporter Chad Pergram said that those sponsoring the legislation included Jeff Duncan (R-SC), Brian Babin (R-TX), Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Jody Hice (R-GA)and Ronny Jackson (R-TX).

GOPers have argued Omar has made anti-Semitic statements during her first two years in Congress.

Ilhan Omar has a lengthy history of wading in anti-Semitic waters. Especially when describing the 9/11 terrorist attacks as “some people did something.” Omar’s Israel bashing and Jew hating is similar to what was promoted in Nazi Germany.
“The Jewish power to hypnotize the world, as Ms. Omar put it, is the plot of Jud Süss — the most successful Nazi film ever made,” NYT columnist wrote.
After winning her 2018 House race, Omar scrambled to distance herself from these statements, vehemently denying any claims of anti-Semitism while still maintaining support for terrorist groups like BDS.
The U.S. federal government said last year that the “Global BDS Campaign” was anti-Semitic.
Omar hasn’t been shy with admitting her hatred of Israel. She’s publicly denounced the use of sanctions against countries like socialist Venezuela and the terrorist-riddled Iran, but vocally supports strong sanctions for Israel.
Omar’s unabashed anti-Semitism should be wholly disavowed by leaders in the Democratic Party. Republicans have only begun the fight to remove Congress’s most ardent anti-Semite, but conflict is expected to increase in the coming weeks.
