In a shocking poll released Tuesday, Donald Trump, his family members and former members of his administration are dominating Republican support for 2024.
Even after Democrats, and some unpopular Republicans, voted to impeach the former president, Trump still remains in the lead earning a majority 53% in most recent Politco poll. Other candidates popular with current Republican voters are Mike Pence, Donald Trump Jr. and Nikki Haley.
Trump’s ‘loss’ to Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election is by no means an indication that the MAGA agenda is unpopular. Between Trump, his family and his political allies, altogether they make up 73% favorability in the poll with Republican voters.
Following the Capitol protests Trump’s popularity within the Republican dropped significantly, but recently made a comeback, adding over 12 points to his approval ratings.
The more Trump protest wing of the party remains in the single digits.
Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, although serving in the Trump administration, has publicly criticized the former president and called for the party to move on. Haley earns six percent support in the poll.
Frequent critics of Trump – like Sen. Mitt Romney and Gov. Larry Hogan – are fairing miserably amongst Republican voters. This is a clear indication that President Trump’s ‘America First’ agenda is alive and well.
Here is how the poll stacks up:
Donald Trump 53%
Mike Pence 12%
Donald Trump Jr. 6%
Nikki Haley 6%
Mike Pompeo 2%
Marco Rubio 2%
Mitt Romney 4%
Ted Cruz 4%
Tom Cotton 1%
Josh Hawley 1%
Kristi Noem 1%
Larry Hogan 1%

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem claimed one percent support in the poll.
