The audio recording which forced many Fake News outlets to issue retractions of the Trump-Georgia Election story was found on the device of the chief investigator of the Georgia secretary of state’s office.
On Dec. 23rd, Trump made a call to Georgia official Frances Watson to discuss alleged fraud in the 2020 election. Trump asked her to look into votes in Fulton County. Fake News outlets like CNN, The Washington Post, and others rushed to publish a hit piece on him, falsely claiming he demanded Watson “find the fraud,” noting she’d be a “national hero” if it was successful.
A bombshell audio recording of the call released last week showed that Trump never made either statement, completely destroying fake news outlets’ claims that were traced back to a single anonymous source.
An open records request from the Georgia secretary of state office was the catalyst to locating the audio recording. The audio files were reportedly found in Watson’s trash file.
