Republican Governor of Arizona Doug Ducey signed legislation this week to shield law-abiding gun owners from enforcement of any federal firearms law which are in direct contradiction to the Second Amendment. The purpose of the bill is to throttle Biden’s eventual attack on gun owners.

The legislation, HB 2111, titled “Second Amendment Firearm Freedom Act,” had been passed overwhelmingly by the Arizona House and Senate. Gov. Ducey signed the bill into law earlier this week.

HB 2111 will “prohibit police and sheriffs from enforcing federal gun laws that violate the 2nd Amendment.”

The Mike Bloomberg-funded group Everytown for Gun Safety launched a series of petitions protesting the bill, but the Republican Governor balked at their concerns and signed the bill anyway.

Democrats in the state have announced they are planning a series of lawsuits to challenge the bill.
