Richard Grenell is a staunch conservative and Trump loyalist. He served the 45th president as U.S. Ambassador to Germany and later as Acting Director of National Intelligence. He was key in declassifying documents that exposed Russiagate and other deep state schemes. And he continues to fight for MAGA values, even as Joe Biden tries to destroy the country.
Democrats might think they have the upper hand in D.C., but it’s clear that today, the states are calling the shots. Biden and his cronies are too corrupt, divided, and clueless to actually make lasting change (good or bad). So, it falls to the states to restore our economy, end the pandemic, secure our rights, and defend our border.
In many states, conservative leaders are rising up to do just that. And even in the most unlikely place, blue state California, change is happening. A recall movement reached enough votes to trigger an election to oust Gov. Newsom. Sentiment is stirring the deep Democrats state that change can happen. Americans might be able to turn around CA, at least enough to save it from oblivion.
And Richard Grenell wants to make that happen.
Richard Grenell is launching a group called “Fix California” in an effort to bring change to the deep blue state long dominated by Democratic politicians and policies.
“What I’m consistently hearing from activists and donors is that after a year of our economy being shut down for political reasons and Zoom school, that people in California want permanent change,” Grenell said, according to Fox News…
Grenell said the group’s vision extends beyond the push taking place in California to recall Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom.
“I’m telling our donors when I meet with them that this is not a sexy, quick fix like one hyped-up statewide race,” Grenell said. “This is a four-year campaign to fix California and to do the long-term reforms that we know we need.” [Source: Just the News]
More needs to happen in CA than just replacing toxic Gavin Newsom. Democrats enjoy a super-majority in the state legislature. Even with a conservative governor, Democrats still hold sway in the other chamber. It will take serious groundwork, across the state, to win over voters who are tired of terrible leftist policies that are ruining California.
Republicans will also have to fight fire with fire. Meaning, they’ll need to implement the same “tactics” Democrats use during elections to ensure they can actually win. For years, Democrats exploited the questionable “ballot harvesting” to make sure they won races. Republicans are started to do the same thing (since it’s legal in California), which has meant the difference in recent races.
A man like Grenell can have access to resources and people few others can. He can muster support to get California residents excited and active in a push to retake their state.
But can they do it? Grenell says this will be a four-year campaign. Let’s hope they hit the ground running.
