A Florida sheriff warned the hoards of people their liberal home states not to vote “the stupid way you did up north, or you’ll get what they got.”
The sheriff issued a warm welcome to any/all new residents of Florida, saying, “We are a special place and quite frankly, we would like to have you here.”
However, his welcoming came with an stern admonishment:
“So we only want to share one thing as you move in hundreds a day: Welcome to Florida, but don’t register to vote and vote the stupid way you did up north, or you’ll get what they got.”
The sheriff gave no specific mention of what he believes is the “stupid” way of voting was, but given the current state of the Democrat Party, and the influx of people fleeing from those Blue states, it seems likely he was referring to liberals attempting to turn Florida blue. For example, between 2019 and 2020 there was a 46.2% increase in the amount of San Francisco residents moving to Florida.
Sheriff Judd made these comments following a press conference in which Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a sweeping Anti-Riot bill into law. The bill prevents local governments from defunding the police without state approval and increases severity of many crimes associated with rioting.
He also used two photographs to illustrate the difference between a peaceful protest and a riot during the press conference.

Judd made headlines last year during the summer of unrest when he warned rioters that residents will “blow you back out of the house with their guns” if they arrived in his county.
