Republican Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis keeps racking up wins for not only his state, but for the American people at large. Through his leadership, he proves that the America-First agenda works, plain-and-simple. Hysteria surrounding the Governor is just that – hysterical liberals who predict their reign coming to a catastrophic end.
DeSantis signed a pair of bills on Monday that significantly shrink Communist China’s influence in the United States.
The first bill defends public institutions from malignant foreign influence. The Governor announced this bill will prohibit “agreements between public entities and Communists Party Officials in China, Cuba, or any other undue influence.”
DeSantis warned, “Anyone who willfully steels or attempts to traffic trade secrets without authorization will now face third-degree felony charges punishable by a mandatory minimum of five years in prison.”
That’s where the second piece of legislation comes in. The Florida Governor signed his name to a bill that criminalizes those who steal trade secrets for their own benefit, a tactic used heavily by the Chinese.
“All we are doing today is saying enough is enough. We have to start fighting back against insidious Communist influence, and Florida is doing just that.”

During his press conference DeSantis discussed the lab leak theory that has recently gained steam since the release of Dr. Fauci’s private emails.
The Florida Governor latched on firmly to Trump’s theory that COVID-19 definitely leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology while China scrambled to detract and conceal this undeniable fact. Trump also claims, and DeSantis agrees, that the People’s Liberation Army has close ties to the Wuhan Lab. In fact, Trump’s DOJ was in the process of investigating why China’s biological weapons department was stationed in Wuhan during the onset of the pandemic. Biden since squashed that investigation.
“Take a look at what’s going on now. The Chinese Communist Party and its operatives are trying to coverup the origins of COVID-19 and conceal their role in the coronavirus pandemic. It is pretty clear that this was a virus that almost assuredly leaked out of this lab in Wuhan,” DeSantis said,
He added: “The Chinese Communist Party is primarily to blame, but there’s also American money that very well may have flown to Wuhan.”
Desantis has long-considered Beijing a political adversary to the United States. Early on he called out the World Health Organization, claiming they “are in the the pocket of the CCP. These ‘experts’ basically had everybody look the other way. WHO tried to scrub out the CCP’s role in the virus. And not just the WHO, but bureaucracies and academics largely rally around in support of Communist China.”
The Florida Republican is considered a front-runner just behind Former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race. No other candidate comes close to approaching the two in the polls. Trump has said he would consider DeSantis as a running mate were he to run again.
