Fake News Outlets Shield Americans From Kamals’s Border Failures

Finally succumbing to mounting pressure to visit the scene of the crime that she helped created, the highest-ranking U.S. official finally, yet briefly, visited the US-Mexico border in El Paso, Texas after Former President Donald Trump did so two days prior.

You would think the mainstream media would be ablaze the the Vice President’s visit, but the opposite was true. The border point person received little-to-no press from the corporate media pertaining to her border visit, knowing full well any stories on the matter would expose wounds the Biden-Harris administration hope to keep under wraps.

Kamala Harris’ first stop on the border just happen to coincide with the collapse of a beachside condominium in Surfside, Florida. This news provided a needed distraction for the left-of-center media organizations who decided to report on the the Florida tragedy while ignoring the border tragedy.

Both CNN prime time hosts devoted a majority of their broadcasting on the Florida tragedy, ignoring the tragedy occurring at the border under Kamala’s watch. The main hacks at the news network Anderson Copper and Chris Cuomo dedicated 100% of their shows to different angles of the condominium collapse. Don Lemon, another CNN genius, diverted from the Florida condo collapse to report on House Minority Leader Kevin McCartyhy’s private address about “election conspiracy theories.”

MSNBC, as Trump lovingly refers to it as MCDNC, was less interested in reporting on the Surfside tragedy, but that didn’t mean they covered Kamala’s border visit either. Instead top pundit for MSDNC decided to interview Hollywood actor George Takei on the importance of Pride month and the national tragedy of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida. The pair celebrated a “national memorial” dedicated to the Orlando shooting.

Top “Fake News” hack Chris Hayes did however mentioned the border on his show “All In” — but not to report on Kamala Harris’ visit. Instead Hayes brought up a series of issues with the Republican Party, claiming they were exploiting a series of Biden administration blunders to boost their national approval.

Hayes claimed the Republicans are drawing attention to the vast number of unaccompanied illegal immigrant children crossing the border in an effort to expose Biden’s failure on the border, saying in Biden’s defense, “The administration mobilized to move the kids to proper facilities and as a result, border apprehensions went back down massively.”

In reality, illegal immigration across the southwest border has increased every month of the Biden administration, skyrocketing from 78,442 in January to 180,034 in May.

Rachel Maddow seemed to ignore both Kamala’s border visit and the Surfside tragedy, instead covering the Derek Chauvin verdict before segueing into a segment about the Trump’s 2016 campaign manager Paul Manafort.

Lawrence O’Donnell’s “The Last Word” pushed coverage of Surfside to the final segment to discuss charges against Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg, the Derek Chauvin verdict, and the Justice Department’s lawsuit against Georgia’s election integrity law. And Brian Williams’ “The 11th Hour” presented his viewers with Bill Kristol’s reaction, to Tucker Carlson’s reaction, to General Mark Milley’s defense of Critical Race Theory.

Little of the weekend coverage mentioned Harris’ trip. One exception, Jim Acosta on “CNN Newsroom,” mentioned the border visit in passing, asking only whether Harris’ visit is “enough to put this [issue of illegal immigration] to rest?”

A Pew Research poll found that most Americans would like the media to spend more time reporting on the uncontrolled immigration surge on the nation’s southern border. Yet even Kamala Harris’ presence could not crane their cameras in the direction of the Rio Grande, because the issue does not favor the Biden-Harris administration’s agenda.
