Trump Strikes Back – Sues Big Tech Giants For All Their Worth

Soon after the events of January 6, social media giants wasted no time in shutting down President Donald Trump.

Although still in office, these social media sites took the unprecedented step in censoring the leader of the country. Don’t buy their bogus excuses, they had been wanting to do that for a long time. These websites, run by rabid leftists, finally exposed their true motives.

Since then, a few of them have toyed with the idea of reinstating Trump’s accounts. We all know that was just for show. Facebook’s “Supreme Court” ruled that the ban would stay in place, as if Trump was some kind of peon dependent on their whims.

Trump has talked about starting his own social media site. His team has even joined several alternative ones.

But he hasn’t forgotten what the supposedly “free” sites did to him. And now, we know he is striking back hard.

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced that he will lead a lawsuit over alleged censorship against Twitter, Facebook and Google…

“There is no better evidence that big tech is out of control than the fact that they banned the sitting president of the United States earlier this year,” Trump added. “If they can do it to me they can do it to anyone.”…

Donald Trump will be leading a class action lawsuit against the three biggest social networks online. Class action means the suit will be welcoming numerous plaintiffs—anyone who has been banned or censored by these websites over the years.

As president, Donald Trump frequently called on Congress to do something about big tech’s stranglehold on speech. But the cowards in Congress refused to do so. We all know why Democrats refused. They knew big tech censorship only hurt conservatives. But what they failed to realize (even now) is that the pendulum swings both ways.

If Facebook can ban a Republican, they can easily ban a Democrat. And considering how even liberals are getting “canceled” for not being woke enough, that is very much a reality.

So, why did Republicans refuse to back Trump when they had a chance? Was it stupidity, cowardice, or just plain ignorance of the problem?

We’ll never know. But we do know that this lawsuit from Trump can have far-reaching repercussions. If he’s successful, social media websites will have to reinstate his accounts and make “punitive damages.” It will also signal a major change in social media. Websites will no longer be allowed to maintain shadowy rules that keep users in the dark.

They will also have a harder time banning users, if they can ban them at all. This lawsuit could result in the loss of millions for any social media website that refuses to protect and defend its users’ free speech.

It could be a deathblow to some of them. But the real irony is, this could have been avoided, if these companies never censored anyone at all.
