Stranded Children Get Zero Aid From Biden Administration

Joe Biden wants desperately to quickly turn the page on his failed evacuation mission in Afghanistan. He, along with his defense team, made such egregious mistakes that the only political solution is to distract the American people as much as possible. Such is the exact reason Biden’s White House hopes to drag out public debate surrounding his massive $3.5 trillion social spending package. The back and forth is a staged publicity event to pull the wool over our eyes in regards to what’s still going on in the war torn Afghanistan.

Don’t let them.

According to recent reports, at least 41 elementary school students from the Sacramento region of California remain trapped in Afghanistan. Getting them out has proved to be an impossible task for the Biden administration, though one California Republican, Rep. Darrell Issa, is constantly pressing Anthony Blinken’s State Department, the Department of Homeland Security, and the White House.

Officials at the elementary school in the California district, say they’re trying to “cobble together” a rescue mission without any support from the Biden administration. Sacramento school district officials told the reporters that they are working with “Congressional representatives” but did not mention any coordination with the Biden administration.

Rep. Darrel Issa, who is reportedly assisting in trying to get the Biden administration to divert attention to the trapped schoolchildren and their families, told reporters that they are trying to remind the White House, DHS, and State Department daily that there are children trapped behind enemy lines and under threat from the Taliban. His office told the paper that, “Congressman Issa and his team continue to press official channels including State, DOD, DHS, and the White House on a daily basis” on the issue.”

The State Department would say only that they have assisted in repatriating around 200 individuals, giving no specifics on how many Americans remain inside Afghanistan, nor about whether there are efforts being made to evacuate kids.

“We have assisted 105 U.S. citizens and 95 lawful permanent residents (LPRs) to depart Afghanistan. These are the numbers of people whose individual departures we directly facilitated,” the State Department said, adding that “due to privacy considerations, we are unable to comment on specific cases. We are first focusing on U.S. citizens with immediate family members who are ready to depart and have travel documents.”

To make matters worse, it’s been reported that a U.S. Fulbright Scholar who was providing aid in Afghanistan has now gone missing.

The State Department was similarly vague on her whereabouts and any effort to pull her from Afghanistan.

Are you paying attention yet?

The Biden administration is so desperate to distract from the mess in Afghanistan, they will do or say anything to keep media off their backs. With lame excuses like “privacy concerns” no one will receive the necessary answers to successfully evacuate the last remaining Americans from the Taliban’s Afghanistan.
