This Red State Is Leading The Charge In the Fight Against Infant Genocide

These days, all eyes are on the Supreme Court as they deliberate on a pro-life law out of Mississippi. The law strikes at the heart of one of the most controversial and hated rulings, Roe v. Wade. The state has argued that the Constitution does not allow for abortions, meaning Roe should be overturned. If the current, conservative Supreme Court rules in Mississippi’s favor, a host of changes could take place in the United States.

One possible outcome of this current case is that the court rules states have the power—not the federal government—to decide abortion law. Such a ruling would invalidate Roe (and other past court rulings) and give states the ability to craft legislation on their own. This is something the left fears, as they rely on exploiting Roe in every state, to perform abortions and rake in big money.

But the governor of Mississippi is not hiding his agenda. If the court rules in their favor, abortion is done in his state.

Governor Tate Reeves (R-Miss.) said during an interview Sunday that he will enforce a law banning most abortions in Mississippi if Roe v. Wade is overturned…

The Republican governor also told CNN’s Jake Tapper that “there is no guaranteed right to an abortion in our U.S. Constitution.” Abortion laws “should be left to the states,” according to the governor.

“If you believe as I believe very strongly that that innocent, unborn child in the mother’s womb is in fact a child, the most important word when we talk about unborn children is not unborn, but it’s children,” he stated. [Source: Just the News]

Gov. Reeves vowed that if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, Mississippi would ban abortion. He stated he would do everything he could “to protect the lives of those [unborn] children.”

Let’s be honest, millions of Americans—a majority—have detested abortion. For years, they have fought to limit or ban the outdated, barbaric practice. But Democrats have been allowed to push this heinous practice—and get rich off of it—because of Roe. When, in reality, the states should be allowed to set abortion policy, based on what their residents want.

State lawmakers can better decide this issue, because they are closer to their supporters. If voters want pro-life leaders in their state government, then those leaders have a mandate to pass pro-life legislation. It is unconstitutional for the federal government to interfere with that.

But why are Democrats getting rich off of abortion? It’s simple. The federal government dumps hundreds of millions of dollars into abortion providers’ laps (including major abortion provider Planned Parenthood). These companies get rich off of tax dollars, while claiming none of the money goes to abortions (although they don’t have to prove it). Then, when election time comes around, these groups send millions of dollars to candidates for reelection, ensuring pro-abortion politicians are kept in power.

It’s a sick and twisted system that thrives off the killing of unborn children. But it’s something that Democrats will fight to protect.
