CNN Admits Defeat After Joe Rogan Remains Uncanceled

The campaign to cancel comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan is something of a tangled web. You might be thinking it started with the video of him using the “N-word.” Or, you might assume it started over his “misinformation” about COVID. But it goes further back than that, when cable network CNN started firing shots.

Around the time Rogan himself contracted COVID, CNN started spreading lies about his treatments. They claimed he was using “horse pills” to treat his disease. In reality, he used a variety of treatments recommended by his personal physician. And what do ya know? He got better in a matter of days.

Later on, Rogan had on CNN’s Sanjay Gupta to confront the slander his network spread. Rogan humiliated the newsman, who is used to getting his butt kissed.

Chances are, CNN is mainly the force behind this movement to get Rogan kicked off of Spotify. He, after all, has a larger audience than their highest-rated shows. It seems to have failed, though, as Joe remains on the streaming app and even recently reappeared to do stand-up.

Joe Rogan, host of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” returned to the stand-up stage this week in Texas where he mocked recent left-wing attempts to cancel him…

“I haven’t used that word in years,” Rogan said. “But it’s kind of weird people will get really mad if you use that word and tweet about it on a phone that’s made by slaves.” [Source: Daily Wire]

Not only does Rogan appear safe from the woke mob’s attacks, but he seems to be doing a victory lap. He’s even calling out their hypocrisy, firing back. Now, a CNN host admitted the evil network has lost its war against the popular podcaster.

On Wednesday, CNN host Alisyn Camerota pontificated about iconic podcast host Joe Rogan, remarking, “Well I admit I’m out of ideas for what to do about Joe Rogan. I’m officially out of ideas.”

Camerota was speaking with fellow CNN anchor Victor Blackwell, who referred to Rogan’s statement in which he said the viral video compilation of various times he had used the N-word was a “political hit job.” [Source: Daily Wire]

Weird. What does that mean, “I’m out of ideas for what to do about Joe Rogan”? Is she, and her network, saying it’s their job to “deal” with this popular comedian and host? Why does she even care? Why not, you know, go back to doing your job of reporting the news? Oh, wait. CNN hasn’t been reporting the news in years.

This comment from Camerota is ad admission that this network (and the rest of the left), thinks they have the right to “do something” about people they disagree with. There is a popular, likable podcast host who thinks for himself and talks with people who contradict the left’s narrative. So, these power-hungry globalists think they need to “do something” about that. Which means, cancel them, shut them down, destroy their reputations—until they come crawling on their hands and knees seeking forgiveness from their woke overlords.

But Rogan has refused to do this. He’s admitted where he went wrong, but he is in no way willing to comply with the left’s war against free speech and free thought. Spotify is unwilling to end their contract, because they know he’ll just end up on another platform, bringing in millions.

Camerota’s comment is far more disturbing than it seems. And they might have lost the battle with Rogan—but they are far from ending their war against conservatives, free thinkers, and anyone that refuses to bow the knee to the George Soros of the world.
