I don’t know why anyone’s surprised that gas prices are rising under Joe Biden. He literally vowed to end the oil industry during a debate with Donald Trump. Everything he’s done while in office has crippled our energy sector. We can’t point to the many decisions his administration has made that restricted America’s ability to produce more oil. Meanwhile, he has begged OPEC, Russia, and China to produce more oil.
Obvious, this man’s brain is on backward.
Last year, Biden sought to “fix” the problem by releasing millions of barrels from our energy oil reserve. Experts explained why this was an idiotic idea. Of course, it didn’t help lower gas prices. Meanwhile, Biden’s administration blames gas companies for charging too much—the same way they blamed grocery stores and meat producers for high food prices. Do these morons have any idea how the economy works?
Now Biden is stumbling down a flight of irony with his latest vow.
“I’m going to work like the devil to get gas prices down,” Biden told attendees at the National Association of Counties 2022 Legislative Conference in Washington, DC…
As of Monday, the average gas prices are up to $3.48 a gallon while in some places across the country drivers are paying up to five or six dollars a gallon.
Biden tried to express solidarity with Americans who were getting hit hard by the high cost of gas.
“I grew up in a family where the price at the pump was felt in the kitchen,” Biden recalled. “Everybody knew. Everybody felt it. I understand.”
But Biden continues to push his anti-energy agenda, blocking key pipelines such as the Keystone XL project and trying to freeze new drilling on federal lands. [Source: Breitbart]
You know, I believe Biden when he says he’s going to “work like the devil.” Because only the devil would go out of his way to hurt the very people he’s supposed to be helping. After all, he didn’t say “fight like a devil,” but “work” like one. That could mean anything. And since this man refuses to reverse the policies that got us in this mess in the first place, we can only assume he’s going to make things worse.
Biden shut down drilling on federal land and ended the Keystone XL pipeline project. That was enough to cripple our oil production. But he also signed countless orders to push green policy, that hurt companies. Including massive fines on emissions, that forced energy companies to produce less.
The administration chides Americans for being upset about rising gas prices. Apparently, it’s our fault we have to pay so much because we don’t own electric cars. How stupid is that? Electric cars are more expensive than traditional cars, in some cases three times the price. And that ignores the fact that electricity has to come from somewhere… like those energy plants that are struggling?
It doesn’t seem like Biden cares at all. And all his vows won’t do a thing to solve this.
