Elon Musk is no stranger to calling it as he sees it in regards to Twitter.
The Tesla CEO makes a habit out of trolling multiple leaders across various organizations, including world leaders, liberal journalists, and even Twitter’s CEO.
There’s been controversy recently after Elon Musk decided to place his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter on hold just as it seemed the deal was days from closing. Musk revealed his concerns over the company’s practice of tracking spam and bot accounts.
Musk took to Twitter where he began trolling the CEO Parag Agrawal to high heaven.
Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal posted a thread on Monday explaining the company’s approach to tracking spambots and removing them. Musk, however, used the chance to attempt to challenge the claim that only 5% of Twitter accounts are spam.

Agrawal elaborated on Twitter’s response to spambots, emphasizing that spam “harms the experience for real people on Twitter.” He also noted the complicated nature of spam, which includes automated accounts and coordinated human responses that are often “dynamic” due to the spambots.
Agrawal claimed Twitter deletes half a million spam accounts every day. Twitter also locks millions of accounts every week that are suspected to be spam accounts. That practice, along with internal estimates over the last four quarters, has led Agrawal and Twitter to believe that the 5% estimate is accurate.

Musk temporarily paused his attempt to acquire Twitter, claiming he would review the deal in light of the company’s claims regarding Twitter’s spambot count.
It was also announced that Biden’s federal government would be launching an investigation into Musk’s purchase of Twitter.
Agrawal responded on Friday to two Twitter executives being released on Thursday and a leaked internal memo discussing hiring freezes and cuts in costs. He claimed in the thread that he was sure Musk would close the deal but is prepared for “all scenarios.”
Many conservatives have rooted for Elon during the acquisition process not because of ideology, but because of the notion that Twitter could drop its anti-Republican bias and reverse its content moderation policies, which censor blatant truths for the betterment of Democrats.
