For some reason, the Biden administration is ignoring his staggeringly bad approval numbers. They are making excuses about numerous economic problems, like rising gas prices. But the big issue on everyone’s mind, Biden has no clue about: inflation.
Inflation was triggered after Biden flooded the economy with one trillion new dollars last year. It was compounded thanks to his deliberate efforts to cripple our energy market. And it was only made worse by his inability to handle the supply chain crisis. All that (and more) has amounted to historically bad inflation rates, with each month getting worse.
And now, a new sad poll is coming out. Biden has robbed children of summer camp.
The poll by Echelon Insights found that 75% of parents are “extremely” or “very” concerned about the “rising cost of everyday purchases like food or gas.”
But the survey also found that inflation is altering the way Americans live. When asked, “Has recent inflation (increases in the price of gas, groceries, etc.) caused you to change any of your plans for what your children will do this summer?” 57% of those surveyed said yes while 37% said no.
Asked if their family has “changed or canceled plans for a family trip” because of inflation, 51% said yes. And 41% said they “changed or canceled activities for my children like camp or extracurricular activities.” [Source: Daily Wire]
Wow. Biden really hates kids, huh? He’s fighting for the “right” of women to abort their babies. He is letting infants starve thanks to a baby formula shortage. And now, he won’t even let families go on summer vacations, or send kids to camp.
Summer activities amount for quite a bit of the country’s economy—especially in tourist-loving states like Florida. More than that, summer spending is an indication on Americans’ confidence in the economy. When things are bad, families are forced to cut unnecessary expenses like trips and camp.
When Trump was president in 2017 and 2018, summer spending was way up. Thanks to his tax cuts bill, Americans had the money (and confidence) to enjoy their time off.
This year, what is going to happen? Rising prices for both food and gas are making it impossible for some families to even make ends meet. Cherished times like going on vacation will be cut short or canceled.
All because we have a puppet in the White House bowing to the will of China and other globalists.
You’d think Biden and Democrats would be trying to get Americans out there spending and enjoying the summer. Instead, Americans will just be scrimping by.
Is this what he called “build back better”? How pathetic.
