An Iranian-backed militia commander who allegedly orchestrated 18 terror attacks across Europe and plotted to bomb synagogues in Manhattan, Los Angeles, and Scottsdale has been arrested, extradited, and is now sitting in a Brooklyn jail cell — and reports suggest Ivanka Trump may have been among his targets.

But remember, Iran just wants nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. Nothing to see here, folks.

Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi, a 32-year-old Iraqi national and accused commander of the Iran-backed militia Kata'ib Hizballah, faces six federal terrorism counts including conspiracy to bomb public places. According to Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, Al-Saadi "directed and urged others to attack U.S. and Israeli interests and to kill Americans and Jews." He was arrested on May 15, 2026, in Turkey and hauled before Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn for his initial court appearance the same day.

Let that sink in. This guy was running a terror operation from the Middle East, directing attacks on two continents, and actively planning to hit targets on American soil. And the left spent years telling us the real threat was MAGA grandmas wandering around the Capitol.

The scope of Al-Saadi's alleged operations is staggering. He's accused of directing 18 attacks across Europe and 2 more in Canada. Among the hits already carried out: a mid-March attack on the Bank of New York Mellon office in Amsterdam, a thwarted March 28 attack on a Bank of America building in Paris, and the stabbing of two Jewish men in London on April 29. The man wasn't freelancing. He was running a full-blown international terror campaign backed by Tehran's favorite proxy army.

But it gets worse — and closer to home.

Al-Saadi's planned U.S. targets included a Manhattan synagogue and Jewish centers in Los Angeles and Scottsdale. He allegedly agreed to pay an undercover officer $10,000 to carry out an attack, wiring approximately $3,000 as a down payment. Ten grand to murder Americans at prayer. That's the price tag Iran's proxies put on Jewish lives in America.

Then there's the Ivanka angle. According to Newsmax, former Iraqi deputy military attaché Entifadh Qanbar has claimed that Al-Saadi was also connected to a plot targeting Ivanka Trump. The New York Post first reported that detail, and while it hasn't been independently verified, the fact that it's even in the conversation tells you everything about the kind of operation this animal was running. He wasn't some lone wolf. He was a directed asset of an Iranian militia with American targets in his crosshairs.

Al-Saadi is currently being held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Good. He can rot there.

Here's the part that should make every American furious. We spent years under Obama and Biden watching this administration coddle Iran, send them pallets of cash, beg them to come back to the negotiating table, and look the other way while their proxies armed up across the Middle East. Kata'ib Hizballah — the same group Al-Saadi allegedly commanded — has attacked American troops, American allies, and now allegedly plotted mass casualty attacks on American soil.

President Trump's DOJ caught this guy. They extradited him. They're prosecuting him on six counts. That's what happens when you have an administration that takes the threat seriously instead of sending John Kerry to grovel in Vienna.
