We’re guessing this video is from today because as Twitchy reported, Joe Biden lifted his surprise lid and made an in-person appearance in Chester, Pa., less than 20 minutes from his home. We’re guessing today because he says he thinks they’re voting on Amy Coney Barrett today (they are, so good for him on keeping up with current events).

Barrett came up in response to a question about packing the courts, his position on which he told a local reporter voters didn’t deserve to know, since the people asking were probably Republicans anyway. He’s since said packing the court depends on “how things go.” We didn’t get to hear his complete remarks, though, because it looks as though campaign staffers escorted the press out of the event as Biden began to stumble.

Hey, he’s been putting in 12-hour days, even on those days when he called a 72-hour lid on his campaign.

We didn’t get to hear the end of his answer, so we’re going to have to assume it still depends on what happens whether President Biden packs the Supreme Court.

In breaking news, Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the St. Louis couple who decided to brandish firearms (including an inoperable handgun) when a Black Lives Matter mob entered their private property on their way to the mayor’s house to protest, have been indicted on charges of exhibiting guns at protesters (that sounds made-up for the occasion) and tampering with evidence.

KMOV reports:

A grand jury indicted Mark and Patricia McCloskey Tuesday on charges of exhibiting guns at protesters in a June incident in their neighborhood.

Additionally, the grand jury added a charge of tampering with evidence for both members of the couple.

Afterward, Mark McCloskey expressed frustration with the fact no protesters were charged in the incident.

“They broke down our gate, they trespassed on our property. Not a single one of those people are now charged with anything,” Mark McCloskey stated. “We’re charged with felonies that could cost us four years of our lives and our law license.”

Dana Loesch weighed in, saying self-defense is under attack:

As Twitchy reported; Patricia McCloskey’s handgun was inoperable when police seized it; however, in a bizarre turn, Assistant Circuit Attorney Chris Hinckley had firearms experts put the gun back together to show that it was “readily capable of lethal use.”

As Twitchy also reported, former Assistant Missouri Attorney General John M. Reeves posted a thread in September in which he argued the case has no legal basis and should be thrown out. Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt back in July had tweeted “enough is enough” and said he’d be “entering the case to defend Missourians’ right to protect their families and property.”

We’re not sure how “exhibiting guns at protesters” is going to stand up in a castle doctrine state with a mob of trespassers.

Here’s one of those tweets we don’t quite trust: It doesn’t link to any article, and it cites “multiple sources” for its claim that Hillary Clinton is thinking about running for president in 2020. Not that we don’t agree with the premise; she’s always thinking about running for president or being president. This time around was supposed to be Joe Biden’s turn, but seeing how he’s collapsing in the polls and bleeding from the eyeballs on TV, Clinton might consider this her chance.

Rasmussen’s “big news” from earlier Monday was another poll showing Clinton beating Trump, not unlike the polls from 2016 that showed the same thing. So that’s probably fuelling this nonsense.

But she and daughter Chelsea just published a book on gutsy women; she literally wrote the book on guts.

It would be like her to let all the other candidates destroy each other in the debates and then descend from her pedestal to “save” the party.
