Joe Biden announced his plan of attack against the Second Amendment this week, filled with his trademark gaffes, brain freezes, and awkward phrases.

These are by-far the strangest and most awkward moments from Biden’s White House press conferece:

1. “Pistol” or “pencil”?

2. Mid-Speech Apology To Jill

In the middle of his speech, Biden awkwardly apologized to his wife Jill Biden for taking full ownership of their deceased son, Beau Biden.

3. Rewriting history

Biden extolled false virtues of the Federal Assault Weapons Ban he helped pass in 1994. The president claimed mass shootings went down 10 years following the bill, but fact-checkers quickly denied Biden’s claim.

4. Joe Biden dreams of God granting him one gun control law

Joe Biden revealed if God were a genie and granted him one wish, he’d want an all-encompassing gun control law.

“If the Lord came down and said, ‘Joe you get one of these, gimme that one.’ Because I tell you what, there would be a come-to-the-Lord moment and these folks would have it real quickly.”

5. “No amendment to the Constitution is absolute.”

Biden  asserted that the Second Amendment was not “absolute” asserting that at America’s founding citizens were not allowed to “own any weapon they wanted to own.”

6. Joe Biden botches a description of the “gun show loophole.”

“Most people don’t know you walk into a store and you buy a gun, you have a background check. But you go to a gun show, you can buy whatever you want and no background check,” he said.

The vast majority of gun show vendors are licensed dealers who require background checks. Private sales for person-to-person gun transactions are the only scenario in which gun owners can bypass background checks.

7. Biden forgets the name of his own federal agency.
